When our son chose to attend the University of Colorado, Boulder, my husband and I decided that we would buy a condo for him and a roommate to live in beginning in his sophomore year, providing he showed appropriate maturity in adjusting to college life.

He did, and we got serious about locating a condo in late winter 2007. Our son did the advance work, by attending the University sponsored housing fair last February. He met and exchanged contact information with three real estate agents at this event, all of who contacted us during the next week. Within minutes of talking to Tedd Harshaw for the first time, I knew he was the agent we wanted to work with. I flew to Boulder in late March and spent a very well organized and productive day with Tedd during which he showed my son and I six housing options. Ultimately, we found a house that was perfect for our circumstances.  Tedd’s high degree of assistance did not end with the signed contract. He put us in touch with an excellent mortgage broker, helped line up inspectors, advised and strategized when small repair issues were identified. After we took position of the property, Tedd located vetted home repair specialists and checked on the house several times. Tedd has even visited our son and his roommates a couple this fall and let us know how they were faring- great peace of mind for out of state parents like us.
